Observance of National Unity Day (31 October 2023)

Embassy of India in Algeria observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas-2023 (National Unity Day) and paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 148 birth anniversary on 31 October 2023.

2. All India based members took “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge” at 1000 hrs. A documentary on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was screened at the Chancery premises in the afternoon in which members of the Indian community and friends of India also participated enthusiastically.

3. Cd’A thanked all the attendees for joining and took them through the life and achievements of “Iron Man of India”, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

4. The event concluded with serving of light Indian refreshments.
