65th Republic Day of India Flag Hoisting Ceremony

Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26 January 2014 in Algiers with traditional enthusiasm. H.E. K. S. Bhardwaj, Ambassador of India to Algeria unfurled the national tricolour at the Embassy Residence premises. National Anthem and patriotic songs were sung. The Ambassador read out the President\'s Address to the Nation. Around 150 people, including members of the Indian community and the Embassy of India, together with their families and friends of India among Algerian nationals, celebrated the event.
