Celebration of 76th Republic Day  (26 January 2025)

Members of the Indian Community and a cross - section of Algerian nationals celebrated 76th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm in Algeria. More than 120 members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India participated in the celebration at the Embassy.

The event commenced with unfurling of the national flag Tiranga by Ambassador Dr. Swati Vijay Kulkarni, which was followed by rendition of national anthem. Ambassador read out the excerpts from Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji's address to the Nation on the eve of the Republic Day .

Both Indian and Algerian nationals put together a short cultural programme of Indian songs and patriotic poems.

Indian refreshments were served at the end.
