150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Embassy organized the celebrations of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Ambassador administered the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge’ to all the Indian officials of the Mission.

The event was attended by members of Indian community and Embassy officials. During the event, after paying floral tributes, she spoke about the contribution of Sardar Patel towards nation-building, especially through integration of more than 560 princely states into the newly independent India. The event included screening of an inspiring film on Sardar Patel’s life and legacy, and a rejuvenating chair yoga session.
