Briefing Session hosted by Embassy on the  4th India-Africa Forum Summit 

A briefing session was organized by the Embassy on 23 April 2026 on the Embassy premises to highlight key aspects of the 4th India–Africa Forum Summit (IAFS- IV) which will be held in New Delhi from 28-31 May 2026.

The gathering was graced by Algerian business leaders, diplomats representing African nations, members of Chambers of Commerce, media representatives, social media influencers, dignitaries from cultural sector, representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, friends of India, along with representatives of Indian companies participating in Maghreb Pharma Expo.  

Ambassador Dr. Swati Vijay Kulkarni briefed the gathering on the dates and venues of the high-level G2G meetings that are scheduled during 28-31 May 2026 at New Delhi and the current status of India-Africa relations. 

Ambassador also spoke about the quality and depth of the Algerian-Indian partnership, highlighting the progress achieved by the two countries in various fields. 

Col. Ashish Chopra, DA and Mr. BC Tiwari, SS (PIC), briefed the guests on the business and cultural segments of the Summit respectively and shared details of India-Africa cooperation in these sectors. The event also featured Indian musical performances along with video screenings that highlighted various dimensions of India–Africa and India–Algeria relations.
