Celebration of 77th Republic Day  (26th  January 2026)

Embassy of India, Algiers celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with the Indian nationals and friends of India in Algeria. Cd’A unfurled the Tiranga and read out the Hon’ble President of India’s message to the Nation.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of its composition, the National Song ‘Vande Mataram ‘was sung collectively by all the attendees.

Two Algerian students enthralled the audience with Hindi patriotic song and poem. More than 100 people participated despite grey weather.

Indian cuisine was enjoyed by the participants at the end.
